In this lecture, Mr. Sattar Jabbar Rahman will address the most critical structural issues hindering liberation in Arab societies, from a comprehensive analytical perspective that intersects the political, social, cultural, and religious dimensions. The lecture aims to deconstruct traditional perceptions of women, explore the relationship between feminism and democratic transformations, economic empowerment, and the use of the sacred as a tool of domination. This will open the door for a critical discussion on the role of women within the broader project of societal liberation.
